THESE ARE OUR PERCOON KITTENS

Zoe Black and White Female PERCOON $750

THE PERCOON BREED

Physical Appearance:

The Percoon may inherit a combination of traits from both parent breeds. Expect a cat with a luxurious, semi-long to long coat, possibly inheriting the Persian’s plush fur and the Maine Coon’s tufted ears and large, expressive eyes. Their coat may come in a variety of colors and patterns, including solid colors, tabby, calico, silver, smoke, blue, cream, and more.

Size:

With the Maine Coon being one of the largest domesticated cat breeds and the Persian known for its stocky build, the Percoon is likely to be a medium to large-sized cat, with a sturdy and muscular body.

Temperament:

The Percoon is likely to inherit the best qualities of both parent breeds. They might be affectionate and loving like the Persian, enjoying snuggling up with their humans, while also being curious, intelligent, and playful like the Maine Coon. This breed is likely to be social and enjoy interacting with both their human family members and other pets.

Grooming Needs:

Due to their long and luxurious coat, the Percoon will require regular grooming to prevent matting and tangles. Weekly brushing sessions will help keep their coat healthy and shiny, and occasional baths may be necessary to keep them clean. Additionally, routine grooming sessions provide an excellent opportunity for bonding with your Percoon.

Health:

As with all hybrid breeds, the Percoon may inherit a combination of health traits from both parent breeds. Common health concerns in Maine Coons include hip dysplasia and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, while Persians are prone to respiratory issues and polycystic kidney disease. Regular veterinary check-ups and a balanced diet are essential for maintaining their overall health and well-being. Fortunately, our Kings and Queens have been tested for these ailments and tested negative, so your kitten will not inherit any of these.

Adaptability:

The Percoon is likely to adapt well to various living environments, including apartments and larger homes, as long as they receive enough mental and physical stimulation. They may enjoy having access to a cat tree or perches to satisfy their natural instincts to climb and observe their surroundings.

In summary, the Percoon is a charming blend of the Persian’s elegance and the Maine Coon’s playful nature, making them an ideal companion for families and individuals alike who appreciate the best of both worlds in a kitten.
