We’re in San Antonio, Texas—but we deliver our Maine Coon kittens across the U.S. and internationally. We’re one of the only breeders who personally deliver each kitten, by land or air, to ensure a safe journey and a warm, in-person handoff.
Our cattery is located in our private home and is not open to the public. We do not allow casual visits. Kittens are only shown to approved adopters who have filled out our application, signed a contract, and paid the deposit. We operate by appointment only, not as a pet store.
3. What Is Your Health Guarantee?
Our health guarantee covers major genetic conditions and ensures your kitten arrives healthy and thriving. Read the full details on our Maine Coon Health Guarantee page.
4. Is It Okay to Declaw a Maine Coon Cat?
No, declawing is not safe or ethical. It’s an amputation that can lead to long-term pain and behavioral issues. Instead, we recommend scratching posts, routine nail trims, and soft nail caps if needed.
5. When Can I Take My Kitten Home?
Kittens go home at 12–16 weeks of age, depending on readiness and spay/neuter status. We do not release kittens earlier. Each kitten must be sterilized before leaving and have a vet clearance.
6. How Do I Reserve a Bellspurr Kitten?
Fill out our application form. Once approved, you’ll receive our contract. A 30% deposit secures your kitten. Transportation fees are paid in full upfront if delivery is required. The remaining balance is due at pickup or delivery.
7. What Health Screenings Do You Do on Your Cats?
All of our Maine Coon breeding cats are DNA tested and cleared for:
FIV / FeLV
HCM, PKD, PKDef, SMA
Over 40+ rare genetic conditions

No, it’s not okay to declaw a cat. Declawing is a painful surgical procedure that removes part of the toe bone—not just the nail. It often leads to chronic pain, arthritis, and behavioral changes.
Most veterinarians and animal welfare organizations strongly oppose it. We recommend safe alternatives like regular nail trims, scratching posts, or soft nail caps.
